3 Years of Impact – in the North African Transition to Agroecology (NATAE)

Over the past three years, the North African Transition to Agroecology (NATAE) Project has brought together farmers, researchers, civil society actors, and policymakers to rethink how food systems can become more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable. Working across diverse territories and agroecosystems, the initiative has fostered collaboration, experimentation, and shared learning rooted in local realities. Through Living Labs and multi-actor dialogue, innovative agroecological practices have been co-designed, tested, and evaluated. This milestone reflects not only measurable progress but also the strength of collective action and regional cooperation in advancing agroecology as a pathway for North Africa’s agricultural transition.
